Editor's review
This is a tool that can let you replace text strings on a PDF.
A-PDF Text Replace is a simple and quick desktop utility. It can let you replace, change or delete multiple strings of text in PDF files. The tool is quite a flexible text replacing editor that can specify what strings are to be replaced with what strings on the document. The software is able to go through the PDF text and recognize the strings that are identical to the given ones. It then does the replacements quickly. When some text pieces need to be changed on a large number of documents or on one large document, this tool can work well. The manual process would be really painful and error prone. This could be typically for changing the name of a company officer, address or a change in some parts of the name, etc. on all marketing material of your company.
It could also be equally useful in entirely removing a text string, a watermark perhaps, from a document prior to printing it where the watermark would make the printout really ugly! This is a standalone tool and thus does not need anything else to operate smoothly. The tool’s interface has two windows. One is for collecting the files to be processed and the other window where you specify the “find” text and “replace with” text. “Replace” and “Replace and save as” controls work respectively as follows. In the first case, the source file is replaced with the processed file while in the second case you get a separate destination file. This is a simple and handy tool for the job.
